Cordless Grinder Removes Padlock in Seconds | Mr. Locksmith

Install a cutting wheel on your Cordless Grinder. Turn on the angle grinder and slowly press the disc onto the shackle. As you cut through the lock, the grinder will shoot off sparks. Keep firm pressure on the grinder so it works through the shackle.

Yes, I should have worn gloves.

A thousand different ways to open the padlock. However, the customer had broken a key inside the lock and had attempted various methods to remove the padlock. Also, the padlock was seized up.

Quickest, fastest and most profitable way to remove the padlock was to cut it off with my brand new Milwaukee Cordless Grinder with a cutting wheel.

Battery use was minimal. Previous cordless grinders would use half the battery power for a simple padlock.
