This video will show you how to remove the RAM 3500 Emergency Key on the following Ram Models:

2019 – 2023 Ram 2500, 3500, 4500 and 5500

1920 – 2023 RAM 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500 Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, Limited, Lone Star, Power Wagon, Tradesman.

Removing the Mechanical Key
First step is remove the mechanical key, and there’s a little mechanical release button here, and this is for the emergency key. We pull that out, just depress, and that’s the emergency key. And you can see here we have left and right.

Locating the Mechanical Release Button
remove the emergency key on a RAM 2022 3500. It’s pretty simple. There is a mechanical release button right here, just to press it with your thumb, thumbnail, and the key just comes out. Very simple.

Using the Emergency Key
This is the emergency key to open up the door so when the battery is failed on the car or on your remote, it’s simple.

Reinserting the Key
Just and to put it back in, just clip it in.

Recap and Conclusion
