2000 H1 Hummer 5 Cut Ford Ignition Malfunction. The Ford 5 Cut ignition failed and this is usually caused by a small piece of the buzzer jams the pins or get bunched up in the back of the ignition .

In most cases it is easy to remove the broken piece, turn the ignition to the accessory position, depress the retainer pin and remove the ignition.

However, somebody who did not know what they were doing, cracked the ignition and turned a simply car locksmith job into a bit of a nightmare.

Customer was happy to get back on the road.

Note: H1 Hummer manufactured by GM, has a GM Diesel engine but uses a Ford 5 Cut Ignition.
